The "Black Fencer" Federschwert Version 4.0 is a meticulous reproduction of the training swords used in the 16th century, notably those depicted in the famous treatise by Joachim Meyer from 1570. This simulator offers HEMA practitioners an experience as close as possible to historical weapons, while ensuring the necessary safety for intensive training.

Design and materials:

The 95 cm blade is made from a specially developed nylon alloy to reproduce the properties of a steel blade. With medium flexibility and a static resistance of 15 kg, it faithfully mimics the behavior of a real Federschwert, while offering increased safety during thrusts.

The wide 7.5 cm schilt (ricasso) is a distinctive feature of historical Federschwerts, allowing for authentic half-sword techniques. The stainless steel guard and pommel contribute to a realistic balance and weight, with a balance point 6 cm from the guard and a total weight of 1300 g.
