The "Umbo" is a key historical element of shields since antiquity. This Model M, with its domed shape of 5 cm depth, is ideal for crafting small to medium-sized bucklers and Viking shields.
Its domed shape effectively deflects direct blows while providing enough space to handle the shield with light to medium gloves. The 2mm thick steel plate ensures remarkable durability during combat.
The outer diameter of 19 cm with an inner opening of 14 cm offers optimal protection. The six pre-drilled attachment points, supplied with their rivets, allow for a solid installation on any type of wooden support.
