The rapier is a late evolution of the civil sword. It appeared at the end of the 15th century in Spain and then in Italy

Its thin, elongated blade makes it a favored weapon for stabbing, although its sharp edges can cause serious gashes.

This model, forged by Krieger Armoury, is inspired by the shape and characteristics of the historical rapiers while bringing appreciable evolutions for modern fencers.

The handle, as with all KRIEGER weapons, is covered with an indestructible synthetic material that fits perfectly in the hand and looks like natural leather.
