This is a training dagger made of ash wood, with a tip secured by a 2cm diameter ball.
This model of dagger was very common in the Middle Ages and notably appears in many historical fencing treatises.
Close combat is an excellent exercise to improve spatial awareness and dexterity while minimizing the risk of injury. It is therefore highly recommended for beginners in HEMA.
Important: Although wearing full protective gear is not necessary, make sure to wear at least safety goggles when training with this weapon.
